Welcome to the Office of University Partnerships

The Office of University Partnerships (OUP) facilitates the formation of campus-community partnerships through sharing information about community partnership development, in general, and about OUP's various funded programs. Our website provides many helpful resources, including funding, research, news, events, technical assistance, and highlights of campus-community activities nationwide.

OUP is committed to helping colleges and universities join with their neighbors to address urban problems—partnerships that enable students, faculty, and neighborhood organizations to work together to revitalize the economy, generate jobs, and rebuild healthy communities.

OUP Quick Reference Links

  • Grantee Database. Use the new map feature to locate grantees by program, state, year, and/or activity. Select the school of interest to read an overview as well as more in-depth abstracts on the school's funded activities. The database also provides contact information through either the map or the OUP Phone Book.

If you are a past or current grantee, please confirm that we have your most recent information.

  • Grants.gov. This is the portal through which you must go to apply for an OUP grant. You must register with Grants.gov at the beginning of each funding cycle before you can submit an application. This applies to those who have already registered once with the website. You must re-register each funding cycle.
  • HUD Environmental Information and Links. This section provides information on environmental review requirements for HUD programs and the projects they fund in communities across the country. HUD-funded projects vary widely as to their complexity, and there are different levels of environmental review triggered by different kinds of projects.
  • HUD Forms Resource. Download reporting forms from HUD's Forms Resource website.
  • Office of Managment and Budget. OMB's role is to help improve administrative management, to develop better performance measures and coordinating mechanisms, and to reduce any unnecessary burdens on the public.
